The production spectrum ranges today from series produced lighting for sales rooms to special, individually made luminaires. Since 1995 the company has been in Augsburg-Haunstetten where there is an area of 3000 m² for administration, sales, design and production together with a painting works, end-Installation, warehousing and dispatch departments. RUCO LICHT employs 40 people full-time and is managed by the chief executive shareholders Edwin and Markus Weindl.

From design and construction through to installation, everything is carried out in-house. After technical lighting calculations and project planning, there follows the CAD design with direct control by CNC equipment. The extensive machinery on site includes everything needed for efficient and flexible sheet metal work such as laser cutters and nibblers, folding presses etc. The parts supplied such as fittings, illuminants, plugs, control gear units stem exclusively from renowned manufacturers with proven quality.

After construction of the prototype, before going into series production all the lights are examined in the company´s laboratory for thermal and electrical function in accordance with legally valid regulations. At the same time there is technical light measurement carried out including the drawing up the light distribution curves. Series products are ENEC/GS certified. Great value is place on simple on site installation and easily replaced lamp sources.
